On July 21, 2022, we had the "Composter construction workshop" at Sítio dos Anjos.
The organic food waste that is separated by the residents of the São Mateus favela, in the city of São Paulo, is collected every week by the NGO "Recicla Orgânico" and deposited in the compost bins at Sítio dos Anjos, where they are transformed into organic fertilizer and biofertilizer that is donated and used in our vegetable garden.
This beautiful work, shared in the community, is based on the principles of Pope Francis' Encyclical Laudato Sí, of care for our Mother Earth.
